I’m currently a freshman at Muhlenberg college studying Neuroscience on a Pre-Med track with hopes to become a neurologist or neurosurgeon. Since I was a child I was always interested in what made people the way they were which I later learned was due to their brain. From that moment on I knew I wanted to do something involving the brain and that helped people when I got older. I’ve always loved working with kids especially in the autism program and ran many events to support them. Recently I’ve been taking some law classes as well and really enjoy them.
One person who has always inspired me and pushed me to do better was my parents and psychology teacher in High School. My psychology teacher in high school introduced me to my passion of the brain. Before that class I was always interested in helping people but never realized how interesting the brain and its functions were. My parents would always pushing me to do anything I could possibly set my mind to. When I told them I wanted to be a doctor they fully supported it and would do anything to help me get to that point. Without my parents support I wouldn’t be as driven and able to do everything I am able to.
